Closing the Literacy Gap in Detroit
Literacy changes lives. SG Energy proudly supports literacy programs in Detroit through our partnership with Beyond Basics, a nonprofit dedicated to one-on-one reading intervention and holistic enrichment. SG Energy also supports literacy programs at community centers and local schools, making educational resources more accessible to the community. With proven methods that unlock the power of reading, these programs open doors to brighter futures for children and families in need. Beyond Basics, in addition to its core programs, also hosts workshops to promote literacy and skill development. SG Energy partners with organizations like Beyond Basics to expand the reach of literacy initiatives.

Autism touches families everywhere, and SG Energy is committed to raising awareness and understanding. The mental health and well-being of individuals and families affected by autism are crucial, and SG Energy supports services that promote these aspects within the autism community. Inspired by personal connections, our autism awareness campaigns leverage our expertise in supporting autism awareness and related services, aiming to promote acceptance and provide resources for individuals and families navigating neurodevelopmental challenges.

SG Cares also supports projects that use sports as a tool for community development. By investing in sports, we help young athletes learn teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, making a positive difference and a tangible difference in their lives.
